At Olympic Pharmacy, we know that our patient’s lives are busy and are in need of convenient solutions
to accommodate their medical needs. That is why we provide our patients with medical billing support to
ensure their insurance claims are being processed in an accurate and timely manner.

Once our sales department has gathered all the necessary information needed to accurately process
our patient’s claims, our billing representatives manage the entire billing process for our patients,
from the initial submission to the final reimbursement and all the sticky details in-between.

What does it mean to be contracted?

An in-network provider is contracted with the health insurance company to provide services to plan
members for specific pre-negotiated rates. An out-of-network provider is not contracted with the
health insurance plan. Typically, if you visit a physician or other provider within the network, the
amount you will be responsible for paying will be less than if you go to an out-of-network provider.
Though there are some exceptions, in many cases, the insurance company will either pay less or
not pay anything for services you receive from out-of-network providers. Patient should contact
their insurance providers to verify in-network and out-of-network coverage.
